After the step we have all taken to move from 2D to 3D and embrace BIM, we must now focus on the essential importance of data standards. Our colleagues Bas and Sjors gave a masterclass about this topic, and explained that there are plenty of challenges in construction and that there will always be challenges. To meet these challenges you must be flexible in every situation. And this is only possible if you have your data properly in order! Fortunately, there are always new developments and innovations to provide more and better validation options and insight into the data from the BIM models.
