Pillr Integrates Further with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Enhancing BIM Projects

09-01-2024 - Pillr is pleased to announce a new integration with Autodesk Construction Cloud®, a portfolio of software services that combines advanced technology, a builders network and predictive insight for construction teams.

The new integration streamlines collaboration and decision-making by allowing project managers to import 3D models managed in Autodesk® Build, Autodesk® Docs, or BIM 360® directly into Pillr. Updates made to linked 3D models from Autodesk Construction Cloud are automatically reflected in Pillr.

Given the array of stakeholders in a construction project, collaboration is key in the AEC industry. Autodesk users are not only working on their own projects hosted in Autodesk Construction Cloud, but are also joining other companies’ projects within Autodesk Construction Cloud.

Now, project teams can run compliance checks on BIM standards or other regulations/requirements on BIM-models, across all projects. The new integration, which can be found in the Autodesk Build App Gallery or BIM 360 Apps tab, allows project managers to conduct automated model checks in Pillr.

The Pillr app is now available in the Autodesk App Store. After installing, project teams can immediately use the integration between Pillr and Autodesk Construction Cloud to enhance the overall quality and efficiency of their BIM models by streamlining compliance, communication, and issue management, no matter which account they are working from.

“We are excited about the new integration with Autodesk Construction Cloud as it satisfies a long standing request from our customers. Mutual customers now have the ability to get their models checked on BIM standards and requirements no matter which Autodesk Construction Cloud account they are working in, ensuring quality of the BIM-models without shifting platforms.”

“Without a centralized hub of information, companies often struggle to distribute the latest updates and changes to their project teams,” said James Cook, director - industry & technology partnerships at Autodesk Construction Solutions. “Integrating 3D models in Autodesk Construction Cloud with Pillr enhances those project teams’ collaboration and helps all stakeholders build better.”
